hi all
being a total novice to the brew world i bought a 30 bottle wine kit from wilkinsons allone with the gear to brew, its all going fine checked the gravity a few days ago and seems to be all on track.

i really fancy a go at ginger beer i have found a recipe from this forum(see below ).
my question is this do you need to add fining as you do with wine or is it just a case of drain to fv then bottle with a little caster suger in bottles for a fizz?

Fiery Ginger Beer 5 gallons

1kg Fresh grated ginger
5tsp Dried ground ginger
1tsp Cream of tartar
2 lemons
2 limes
2.5kg Sugar
2tsp Yeast nutrient
1 sachet champagne yeast

any help ideas or suggestions would be great

You don't need finings but it will be cloudy... and very dry.
