Noob question alert!
Just about to bottle ginger beer in 1l bottles, I'd like to introduce a little fizz to it, what are my options?

Okay you have two options:

A) Did you prime the bottles with sugar?
Or have you just added the ginger beer straight into bottles (with no sugar)?
If you have added the ginger beer straight into the bottles without any sugar it will be flat.

B)I have no experience co2 injecting but im pretty sure you have to keg it (or use a similar pressured container).

When I did ginger beer I primed my 500ml bottles with a teaspoon of sugar in each, its plenty fizzy :thumb: so if you are going for 1 lt bottles I'd add two teaspoons...

I haven't actually bottled yet, how much sugar for a 1l bottle? I don't expect it to be fizzy like lager as you need some serious kit for that, I'd just like it to have a wee sparkle, are carbonation tablets any different than adding sugar?

Carbonation drops would do exactly the same job but cost more than sugar so you are better sticking to sugar :thumb:
