I normally use THBC - but when I tried to place an order it advised that they are no longer accepting UK addresses for payment/shipping. So it's F**k you THBC.................I've just placed my first order with Geterbrewed - fingers crossed !
That's a bit harsh, why not drop them an email to find out why.

I've got an order with THBC which I placed on the 28/12/20 and still not arrived. They were closed until 4/1/21 and it was shipped a week ago. So fingers crossed.

I think it's pretty obvious why. Strangely however there are other non EU countries on their shipping list. Also strange that they have a ".co.uk" web address.

I'll just stick to UK based suppliers from now on.

Really? As Rodcx500z, it's likely to be fallout from the UK leaving the EU. A company that seems to be held in high regard here and do a lot of business in the UK is hardly likely to dump loyal and potential customers unless it's no longer feasible to do so.

If the problems are caused by the UK leaving the EU (as opposed to corona virus), you sjould be blaming those who voted to do so and those with wealth and power who had most to gain from it.

I'm not going to get sucked into a Brexit debate here, but it seems to me pretty obvious that businesses (and not just home brew suppliers) are struggling to come to terms with the new regulation required by the UK's departure from the EU and they need to take some time to adapt the way they work. In the meantime, the simplest thing for them to do is to stop selling to UK/non-UK customers (it cuts both ways) whilst they try and adapt as this minimises the risk of them getting it wrong. I was disappointed to see that Braumarkt are currently not shipping to the UK but I don't expect this to be permanent. I think we all need to show some patience to allow business to adapt and it's a bit quick to be condemning them when we are literally less than 2 weeks into the biggest seismic shift in the internal market for a generation.

people need to cut some slack for these suppliers I am sure it will get sorted with a little time and patience THBC have been a good and respected supplier to forum members for years and they have always given a extra discount to us so lets pay the loyalty back in patience

Probably didn't make it the clearest but they have put up

The problem lies in the UK due to the late deal,Irish Sea border and the amount of paper work and customs clearance that still hasn't got sorted out.The same rules are affecting ordinary food stuff we all take for granted but is messed about with Brexit and causing havoc in the North of Ireland from Supermarket to the small grocer.Come to Tesco's or Sainsbury's here at present and look at the shelves.

All this could have been sorted in 2016, we all know why it wasn,t so i am not going there, these companys have been great with my orders well packaged always on time if there is a problem like covid they tell you nothing is hidden so yeah cut em some slack athumb..

I take it by that comment you mean a hard Brexit in 2016. That would of also resulted in delays as well. The reality is companies are trying to come to terms with the new regulations put in place. Doesn't really matter if you agree with them or voted for them.
Companies both sides need goods to move. Example I am waiting on dog food posted from England, normally takes 5 days I am currently at 10. Not exactly life threatening but I sure the company still would like to keep me as a regular costumer.

No Sam i did not mean that, i genuinly feel for all these companys who are effected by this, what i was refering to is political partys mp's behaving like children instead of sorting it, hopefully this mess will sort it's self soon, hope you get your dog food soon acheers.

I apologise then, the deal went to the wire. Leaving very little time for companies to react. I feel for people in business but the hold up at the border is already getting used as a political football.
Time is needed and patience, this was never going to be a seamless transition. 👍👍

Patience is quite right as deliveries can take ages... I'm waiting on CR Haulage for an IMP Stout and can't even contact the delivery guy 👍

Odd, the search bar takes to the microbrewery site!
