Had 2 grey squirrels fighting over bird feeder in our cherry tree this morning :wha:
Anybody else seen squirrels where they don't usually feed?
I wanted to feed them a nice .22 bit of lead but the kids moaned lol!

How about squirrel stew/pie, Hugh fearnly Whittingstal has a recipe somewhere.

And tell the kids until after you've shot them or just don't tell them at all.

I tell you, this country is so f*cked up at times - you'll not get into much trouble for shooting a grey squirrel, but if you get caught launching them off a clay trap you'd soon find yourself in court facing charges of animal cruelty :evil:

There could be a way around that, its illegal to release one you have caught one so it was just about to be despatched when it jumped on the trap. Tall story but worth a try.
