Just wondering if anybody has had much experience with these kits, I like the idea as you can choose your malt extract, hop strength, hop varieties and yeast as well as adding other interesting flavour options at the end, looks like they use Muntons Extract, anybody ever brewed any of these and if so how did they turn out?

Not done them but it's worth a go, should produce a decent beer (I've done a lot of extract brewing in the past).

Only thing I'd say is that there's no adjunct grains such as crystal malt, so they're relying on the colour of the malt extract which can be a bit limiting. Also, some of us think liquid malt extract is the culprit for that homebrew "twang" and prefer the dried version DME/spraymalt, although when I've used the Muntons stuff it's always been fine.

Personally I prefer the BrewUK range of extract brews, which use DME rather than LME and do include crystal malts for colouring and extra flavour although they're a bit more expensive
