Yes, start without it, but add double the quantity later in the game.

i picked up some wine finings. wont they help?
You may need finings later if you want to accelerate the clearing process, but neither finings or filtration will get rid of hazes.

Take a look at Mark's link, there's some useful info. there :thumb:

Im going to have a read in a moment. Im in the middle of cooking up some alcohol lol.

When i put my airlocks on the dj do i put any water in the or anything?

i wouldnt add it till later on in the brewing process just let everything ferment naturally for now :D
Sorry, but I disagree, the sooner it's added the better.

Stir a teaspoonful into half a cup of cooled, boiled water and add it to the brew. No need to stir the brew, the yeasties will do that.

I will do it now.

Another couple of basic questions:

1/ whats pintching the yeast? I keep reading this.

2/ what are country wines?

Cheers
Craig

"Pitching the yeast" is posh homebrew speak for "putting in the yeast"

Country wine is normally a wine that is not made from grapes - i.e Parsnip, Apple, Strawberry or whatever you can get your hands on.
