Hi All

quick question. i have set up an account with my local BOC outlet and it seems i now have a few optionsas to what gas i want.

as fas as i knew, i was going up to get a cylinder of CO2 for the yr and that would be that. Seems my options are either plain CO2 or:

SUREMIX 30

A 30% carbon dioxide / 70% nitrogen mixture widely used for dispensing a range of stouts and ales.

SUREMIX 50

A 50% carbon dioxide / 50% nitrogen mixture for dispensing ales and lagers.

SUREMIX 60

A 60% carbon dioxide / 40% nitrogen mixture used for dispensing highly carbonated lagers and ciders.

i will probably be dispensing mainly lagers and some ales so the 50/50 would prob be the best? has anyone used these or would co2 on its own do a decent job?

Great to have a range of gas available.....particularly the N mixes for stouts.
You will need a different regulator though for the mixed gas.

CO2 on it's own would be best for ales and lagers unless you happen to like that disgusting **** that masquerades as smoothflow beer.

thanks guys. Think il stick to the CO2 then in the meaintime and possibly experiment a bit later on.
