I've been brewing for a few months making up kits and would like to move into BIAB and extract brewing in the next few months. I've thought about using to hob in the kitchen but not sure it will be powerful enough and also not wanting to take over the kitchen for the whole day I've decided to brew in the shed. I've already got a bottle of butane that we use for camping so was wondering if i could use one of thesehttp://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Cast-...5?pt=UK_BOI_Restaurant_RL&hash=item35c223b97b.
Before i invest in this and other shiny bits I've got a few questions firstly will this be powerful enough for brewing and secondly will it eat gas or will I be OK running it off a 15 kg butane bottle.

Also will this be the best set-up or is there a better way to get started

Thanks

Yep that'll work no probs mines an 8.5 turkish job and i have a variable regulator on the gas bottle so can adjust the pressure up or down, Mine takes around 25-30mins to bring 30ltr to the boil in its 3rd setting then i turn it down on the rollling boil. :thumb:

+1 for the above :thumb: , btw you should get at least 6 brews prob more with 15kg (depending on length of boil of brews some do 60 mins other 90 mins)
