We were in creative mode, and you need elytra (some kind of wings), and fireworks. Jump in the air and activate the fireworks, and you are flying. I think.

Good luck. If you can get it working it is awesome.

Like Chippy I love the Assassins Creed series, also Fallout, Skyrim etc. I use to play a lot more FPS but got a bit bored with the small worlds and repetitive game play. A couple of birthdays ago my wife got me a secondhand WiiU just to play Zelda, it has emulations of loads of the original games. I started at the beginning and am now about halfway through Twilight Princess HD, only two more games and that’s all of them done!

Apex legends is my goto game. 1st person online battle royale shooter on PS4, Xbox and PC. It is free and cross play. All my mates are on in during lockdown. Headset, controller & beer.

Skyrim on the Xbox one, heavily modded, it can become a dangerous thief of time!

I think I've lost several months of my life to that game, I was hugely in to the original on the 360 but running 100+ immersion mods, it becomes absorbing to the point where I would regularly think that I'd been on there a while only to realise 'a while' was more often than not over ten hours at a time

If I ever win the Premium Bonds jackpot I promise you I will never ever complain about being bored while retired. There is just not enough time to be able to do everything what with gaming, brewing, gardening, learning guitar and that's just the stuff I can do at home nevermind all the time I would usually spend in the pub or playing tennis etc.

I'm an avid pc gamer with a really decent rig - complete with bose noise cancelling cans - and I love fps.
Currently addicted to Verdun and always returning to COD4 and CODWow.
Also like to have the odd evening playing assetto corsa. Sooooo damn accurate and beautiful graphics. But I really need to buy a decent wheel and pedals, as mine are a bit shonky.

I'm also a sucker for the many Rome total war/shogun series, as they. As they can be played in the background throughout the day whilst working.

I dreamt of retirement when I was a kid For me work has always been something that gets in the way of life, not the focus of life, as it is for some. There are just so many more interesting things to be doing, reading, watching, playing, exploring, etc, etc

In a few years I will be looking to slow down - at least not be in a job which is so stressful and perhaps even go part time. This is one thing lockdown has taught me I can survive on less money if I need to I've saved loads just by not going to the pub!

I am not sure if its because i haven't played an AC game for a while but it seem a bit different, i didn't like the damage meters etc but the good news is you are not stuck with them there are lots of options you can adjust far more than in any other AC game as i remember, i have spent a bit of time tweaking it to my preference and its brilliant you can pick the sex of your player or let the game pick it per mission , i have only scratched the surface so far but i am loving it i believe it takes around 40 hours if you rush it and many more if you are like me and like to get my monies worth i would say its a definite buy if you are into this type of game.

I'll definitely be getting this.

I heard that some AC fans are not happy that the series is turning more RPG than traditional Assassin's Creed. But I like all that character development and customisation.

RadBrad says in the video "it has a dark souls vibe odyssey was more chaotic" i think that was what i was trying to say in my little review above.

Have a look at the video its over an hour long so you should be able to tell if its your cup of tea.

To be honest i wish they would go totally RPG i find the Animus part a distraction which spoils the game for me.

There is the battle between the Assassins and the Templars through history, and that battle can only be relived through the Animus, a piece of technology that is used to let people re-experience memories that were locked in their DNA.

Same. I was playing Odyssey last night, and it suddenly flipped back to modern day. I'd forgotten it was all in the Animus. I rushed through the dull modern day bit to get back to Ancient Greece as quickly as I could.

But it got me thinking about whether the Animus is a metaphor for gaming? You know, that 'Walking on Glass' / 'Ready Player 1' kind of vibe where the game world is more fun to be than real life.
