Landlord.
Sent fullers an email regarding the yeast in their bottle conditioned stuff. Ive recently been given a bottle of their 6.3% 1845 beer (which was rather tasty) so i saved the dregs and put them in some wort. Its now fermenting nicely on the mag stirrer but Fullers sent an email as follows
Thank you for your e mail and query. I can confirm that the yeast used in our bottle conditioned beers is our primary pitching yeast.
We would mention that during the storage of a bottle conditioned beer the yeast may undergo some physiological changes which makes culturing a little difficult and may produce a culture that does not fully exhibit all the characteristics of our yeast when normally used but it is possible to do.
Thank you for confirming that this would be for personal use only.
