I bought a 5ft tall larder fridge which im converting to a keezer. The temp dial goes from 1-7 so thought id go cold and set it at 7 about 3 days later the cider in my kegs was frozen solid.
I've currently got it set a 2 no problems and am gradually increasing till the temp is right. Has any one else had this problem?? i didnt think a fridge would ever go cold enough to freeze stuff.

It happened to me once.
When putting a corny in the fridge, I must have knocked the dial on to maximum.....came back the following day to frozen beer.

It didn't seem to do any harm to the beer...I just let it thaw over a couple of days.

Yup most fridges will go cold enough to freeze beer in our enviroment. :thumb: Did it with a fermenting beer once, no ill effects after rewarming. Have used a fridge to lager a lager at -4c for 5 weeks no problems
