So I thought it only right I finish this thread as I have just finished my replacement Kegerator build.
I managed to find a larder fridge near me and secured it flr the sum of £40
Most of my fridges I got for free to having to purchase one bit hard but needs must.
When i got it home I wasn't sure two kegs would go in side by side with the compressor hump at the back so I cut the shelf brackets off, easy with a good Stanley and phew they just fit.
The co2 cylinder sits to the side and the gas line comes in via the drain and the rest is pictured.
The cylinder on the inside is Nitro for the stout.
My 5 way manifold has a spare line so I can have co2 to help with other bits of brewing.
Three co2 taps, all can be if needed but the far left is my stout tap.
I wasn't going to use the inkbird but the light unit was to big to get to kegs in. So off it all came and I connected the black and brown wires from the thermostat together so when power is supplied the compressor is alway on. I tidied them up and taped to the side.
The rest was then a matter of plumbing and fitting the taps.
Have to say I am quite please with the result. All for 40 quid and a few hours work.
