Shame on you Steve. I can see a bottle of MO-FO in your fridge. You should be ashamed. Go on tell us all it was bought for you or its your wifes.
I thought someone would spot it. Actually it was bought for me....by the missus.
Ahh the old blame it on the wife routine ;)

damn, all these photos make AG to be really complicated...bloody nice set up though...could do with being your neighbour mate!!
Ag is only as complicated as you want to make it :wha:
As a species we've been mashing successfully for thousands of years and high tec equipment has only been available for a small amount of that time.
There are some good how to guides on here by BrewStu et al have a read it's not that complicated.
The only techy bits of equipment that are arguably absolutely necessary are a thermometer and hydrometer.
Also watch for a brewday thread by me using my low tech home made plastic brewery later in the week
It's cheap and nasty but it makes bloody fantastic beer :D

Nice 'delivery systems' SF, Aleman.

Especially like the use of cornies as shiny drip try holder uppers :thumb:

Here's my keg fridge Version 2.0. I got this from eBay for £50 delivered and was lucky because it fits five cornies with the lid closed (one more goes in the middle) so I didn't have to build a collar around it like my old one.

I didn't go the "taps on the outside" route, so my taps are mounted remotely, and the gas and regs are also remote. I've got a triple reg with two of the outputs run into the freezer and the third left external for other duties. Sadly, the bit to the right isn't deep enough to take more cornies, so I use it to store my hops.

This needs a bit of work - scheduled to be done this weekend. I need to run a gas line in from my mixed gas cylinder and a beer out so I can have a stout keg inside too......right now the stouts are just sitting next to the freezer with a tap attached to the corny by 6 foot of beer line. With the temperature the way it is right now though, it's just fine.

So far, I've only needed to drill one hole in it as I've just used 3/16 line for gas in and beer out, however the stout needs a 3/8 beer out pipe, so I feel another hole coming on....

Temp control is via an ATC800, right now it's only cooled... I keep meaning to add a heater, but I figure in a couple of months I won't need one, so I'll leave that for next winter....
