Whoever said home brew doesn't travel was just protecting their stash.
Just got back off the trip and after good advice from you boys, gave it 2 days to settle and it was good as gold.
It was all a month old or older and to be honest didn't even look disturbed when we arrived after 6 hour drive-Chunnel-3 hour drive.
So, take it with you guys.
You know it makes sense.posting.php?mode=post&f=36#

I too have just returned from two weeks in in sunny France, Vendee region.
I often take a few bottles of homebrew with me, and as you said there's no problem with the miles it's travelling, just give it a few days to rest, and then it's party time! I love the French wine but after a few days I'm ready for a proper drink.
;)
