free hops

hi just been given a big bag of dried hops from a keen Gardner only problem is they don’t know what type they are? would the forum chance a brew with them or could this end up being poured down the drain???

ok guys took your advice and made a "small tea drink" at the same time i did the same with hallertauer hops (the only other hops i have) now the hallertauer is very strong and the free hops are quite subtle! free hops are full of seeds what do you think :wha:

seeds wont hurt, the fuggles i get from a brew shop are full of them,and they will be full of hop oil yum! :party:
