Doing a NEIPIA with the subject Kveik yeast.
Question is do I do a starter? I've heard that Kveik is a bit of a sadist and the harsher you treat it the better it does, so by not doing a starter and potentially under pitching (by normal yeast standards) then it should thrive shouldn't it? The packet says to directly pitch from the pouch unless the yeast is over 3 months old then make a starter. According to the date on the packed its bang on 3 months old.
