Forum meetup in Stockport

Hi Guys,
Vossy, UP and I have been discussing the idea of meeting up at The Crown Inn in Stockport on either the 19th Aug or 20th Aug (from about 7pm onwards). We've had a forum mini-meet there a couple of times previously and it has always been a great night. The Crown usually has at least a dozen hand pulls on :clap:

so i will check with the escape committee ( the wife )
and the taxi ( mother )
maybe the finance committee member would like to come along as well ( dad )

even at 38 i still know who to ask for what

The Magnet is up the road (the new pub of the previous managers at the Crown), they also have 15ish hand pulls and a range of bottled beer but also are in the process of constructing an on-site micro brewery.

Is the Crown the one under the railway viaduct?
It's unlikely I'll come, as it's two trains and a tram, but you never know...
My missus did that trip once when she was hunting me down.
I never had a chance, really.

Give me 4 weeks notice and I shall be there! Stockport truely is great for cask ales tho!
