I think I am at the stage now where everything goes great until, I make a stupid mistake. My mistake this time was not bothering to prime my bottles today and deciding to add the sugar after syphoning.
Lets just say I have spent 5 hours today, just slowly putting sugar into the beer bottles. The funny thing is I did not make any serious mistakes on my first 4 brews. The first is finished tasted ok, but a bit flat. The second tasted a lot better. My third was as good as my second. My fourth is ok, but a bit flat.
Like my IT instructor used to say, "a user who knows a little bit, is a lot more dangerous than
one who knows absolutely nothing at all."
I have perfected the syphoning now and got over confident
