I am still considering using a Coleman Extreme Coolbox to make a Mash Tun, but wondered if anyone could confirm whether or not these are BPA-free? Apparently there is a big thing about BPA and coolboxes.

Ta!

I use a coleman coolbox for a mashtun. I think as a coolbox it is fantastic no added insulation needed. On the subject of BPA-FREE I think I will e-mail Coleman. The concern in America is babies feeding bottles regarding plastics and heat. Igloo are also brilliant. I have used mine for 1 year seems ok.
cheers

Thanks for the reply - I would be very interested to hear what Coleman come back with. Do let me know. I am still interested in doing a Coleman conversion, but have also been drawn towards a Thermobox conversion so I am torn at the moment!
