Hi.
I started brewing a Coopers canadian blond on Friday but noticed today that there is a build up of foam on the top of the brew - so much that it is in the airlock. What should I do?

fairly inexperienced myself, but i had a similar issue with wine. I just kept changing the air lock until it calmed down.

Just leave it until it calms down, then remove and clean your airlock.

Coopers are notorious for being volcanic. Here's day 3 of my recent stout...

And yes it took the lid off by itself

You could always fit a blow of tube. Use some tubing from the gromit to a bottle with some water in it. Just dip the tube under the water then any excess foam can be kept in the bottle.
