A big beer bottled back in January last year, 7.7% and 120EBU, using pale malt, cane sugar and EK Goldings

Opened my bottle with a slight hiss, Poured well keeping a compact sediment. A coarse head formed and quickly disappeared. Leaving a lightly carbonated brew, ( I like them that way ) Nice floral aroma. To my suprise this isn't as Bitter as you would think, a grapefruit taste is found near the end of the mouthful and a clean finish.
I didn't think I would like this as I'm a self confessed Dark and Malty man, But this was a nice dare I say Balanced beer Had to fight the wife for the rest of the pint, I lost but she does agree with the tasting "it's good" was her remark.

Sorry I can't do any better but my tastebuds are not as fine as someone else's, Hence the need to have big singular flavours in my beers

Glad to hear this brew is doing well
I think a lot of people would be surprised at how really high IBU beers mature....well worth doing one and laying it down
