Hi again. Was thinking of maybe adding some flavour to my next brew. I know you can get Mangrove jack's boosts, but they seem rather expensive for the size of bottle. Does anyone have any recommendations please? Would normal flavouring work?
Thanks in advance.

Often wondered about winter spiced ales. But knowing me would probably just ruin it.

Vanilla could be interesting. Using real pods, or one real pod.

The flavourings that the Malt Miller have are very good, the peanut one is great in stouts and the fruity ones lovely in more subtle paler beers.

Has anyone thought of using the likes on Monin syrups as you can get a large verity. My thoughts would be to add it as a carbonation (as it’s made of cane sugar) and you’d get an added flavour. Best used in porter and stouts. The idea came to me whilst drinking a brew dog toffee and pecan stout which I found very palatable.

If you want to add good quality flavourings into beer have a look through this website Flavourburst, ensure you choose a water based one, one bottle will be sufficient for 100-200 litres.

I've had good results using LorAnn flavourings previously. Typically peanut butter stout, coconut porter etc.
