Went out from Sunderland today after a fish or two. Excellent day with my son. Calm sea, bright skies and a cold wind. Didn't touch a thing. When back up river and there was the Stadium of Light.

I tink this is supposed to be Roy Keane's epitaph.

Everyone has an off day now and again we usually come back with something worth eating. There's usually a good number of cod around at this time of year and also coalies. We want a big northerly to stir things up a bit and get the fish moving.
