I've got a battery operated syphon pump, much faster than anything else I've seen. It clears a 5 gallon FV in a couple of minutes and doesn't seem to aerate the beer at all. I've also used it when bottling.
It has three stand offs at the bottom to prevent you from sucking up sediment, and although the outlet pipe is long enough for most uses, you can extend it if required.
