So, taking a short hiatus from beer, as apparently having 92 bottles is unreasonable. So I decided to brew a turbo cider, partly to appease the Mrs as it's something she'll drink, and mostly because if I do it now it should be done in time for summer.
Went with:
6l Tescos apple juice
1 mug strong black tea
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp yeast nutrient
1 tsp pectolase
1/2 cup Tescos sweetener (exactly the same ingredients as splenda but 1/3 the price).
Mangrove Jack's M02 cider yeast
Heated up 1l of the juice on the stove and it all equalled out at 25c, which seems about right to me. Pitched, stirred, shoved it by the radiator.
Now it's fingers crossed! I'm interested to see how it turns out.
