I've just started a turbo cider yesterday.
Bought apple juice from Lidl.

I've put 3l in a DJ and will add another 1.5l in a few days.
And I've added 1 teaspoon of wine tanin, malic acid and wine yeast.

Don't forget to leave it alone and let it mature in bulk for a few months before bottling.

How long would that be?
I was planning to leave it in secondary for 2 months.

yes that would be good and then a month or so in the bottle. Should be ready for autumn :thumb:

I bottled my first ever TC a couple of months ago. It was in bulk storage two months before that. Tried a bottle last night, bang- on!

I've just tried my first ever Turbo cider and it was a pleasant surprise. I followed the instructions to the letter apart from trying one of the bottles that had two weeks in the warm and only 5 days in the fridge - even so it was very drinkable. I'm going to try and forget about them for a month or two and try them again. In the meantime I'll get another demijohn filled. I'm currently waiting for a wow to finish fermenting but I'm really impressed with the TC. Thanks again. :drink:

I will be bottling it in the next few days.

How much sugar should I put in?

I've just bottled it after priming it with 23g of sugar.
I've had a sample and even though it is too dry to my taste I liked it. I might back sweeten it next time.
Anyway I have now 4.2 litres of golden cider carbonating :-)

I've tried my first bottle yesterday.
On the bright side it is crystal clear and very well carbonated.
But then the taste is very disappointing. It is very very acidic and has a yeasty after taste.
I'm starting to think that I shouldn't have added malic acid.

You only brewed it in July.

Cider takes months if not a year until it is truly drinkable.

It is not a quick drink despite its name.
