Hi, got given a youngs beer buddy kit for xmas. everything going fine , now in the pressure barrel, my pressure barrel which i bought seperately has a nozzle for gas release ?? Does this mean my lager will be flat ?? the brass nozzle has a threaded screw to which I can attatch a gas canister of some sort ?? If so what do I need to purchase and when do I do this??

When you put your brew into your keg did you prime it with sugar ?? if so it should be fizzy the threaded nozzle is to attach a gas canoster which can be used to help dispense the beer once the initial pressure from the secondary ferment has gone be careful not to overdo it with the gas though

Hi, cheers for that , yes i put the recommended amount of sugar in when transfering to the pressure barell, fingers crossed then .
