It had a week in the warm after bottle/mini keg, and has had just shy of two weeks in the cold thus far.
I have more of it that had an extra week in the warm and thus far only a week in the cold, but shan't get to that for a few weeks :)
Yep, I'm quite aware it is very "young", and I was surprised how drinkable it was.
It'll be interesting to see how it develops from here on. I'm working to get back to full fitness at he moment so it won't be disappearing that fast... Honest :drunk:
I remember when i done my first lager kit. seriously over primed the bottles, as i wanted it to fizz and didnt want a flat lager. Unfortunately i underestimated what yeast can do!! Didnt burst the bottles, but when once they were opened, at least half of it frothed out before i could even try and pour it into a glass.
You live, you learn  Glad yours was more successful :
Hehehe yep, no major fizz problem as made an ale and didn't want it too fizzy so only put a third of a teaspoon of sugar in the bottles.
The result is a thin head that stays put to the end.
Will be interesting to see the difference in fizz from the mini kegs with the beer king 2000, taping the first one mid week when a good buddy is coming over to sample an amount :)
