First batch bottles and crated....
Will's Olde English Ale.
Made 44 bottles from a 23 litre start.
Smelled very nice, tasted a little sweet.
6 day initial ferment, added dry hops, further 6 days before bottling.
Starting reading was 1050 ish and Finish reading over 2 seperate days was 1010 ish.
Fermenting temperature was around 24/25 degrees as i couldn't control the temperature, just relied on the weather.
Bit of sediment in the bottom of the bottles already... Is that normal?
Used 120 grams of Dextrose diluted with minimal amount of boiling water mixed into bottling bucket for 40 of the bottles and 2 carbonation drops per bottle for 4 bottles just to experiment. (These with the carb drops seem to be the ones i can see with most sediment)
