Well after a lot of faffin about and a few problems here and there, Ive finally got my very first wine into bottles!
Its an apple wine with apples from my 'in laws' apple tree (Laxton Fortune) Due to my lack of experience ( and reading things wrong! )I topped up with vodka,
Using a little too much.
So there is a little vodka taste to it which spoils it obviously
But on the bright side its lovely and clear and a lovely pale golden colour.
I would definatly make it again, but next time I'll use a lot more patients.
I'm going to put it away untill about september, then try one but I dont think it will improve anything. I'll try and forget the rest of them for a few more years!
Anyway I'd like to thank everyone on this forum who helped me as I think without the help, it would have been poured down the drain.
Since then I've got one of those fruit tea bag wines on the go and its doing fine. not going to mess with that one.
I'm certanly learning fast and learning the hard way.
Thanks again everyone :
P.s I tried to load a photo but don't know how to. not very techie with these ere pooters
