Just finished my first brew of Coopers australian larger, pretty happy with it.
I kegged the majority of it and bottled 4 bottles so i can test it without having to go to the keg
What i really want to produce is something akin to Kronenbourg, a local pub to me used to pour a really good pint of the stuff where you didnt get any of the metallicness that i find you get from a can but it had a really fruityness to it.
Are there any kits that produce this or is it a case of having to go AG??
I see there is a place where you can build your own kit here
So might have a go at making a citrusy larger.

Congrats on your brew. Coopers are a great kit that can be tinkered with to produce a 'not bad pint'. If you are looking for a 'continental fruity pint' I would suggest using a Saflager S-23 yeast. There not cheap, the cost is about three quid a go, but they improve the kit a lot.

It is a German 'type' yeast that is idealy fermented between 12 and 15 degrees. I have used it once and there was a great difference in the taste.

Cheers Neil
