Hi,
complete noob here so some advice if you would be kind enough.
I bought a Young’s APA kit and it has brewed nicely (despite a leaky keg so no bubbles in the air lock) at 22 degrees.
I got to day 6 and the foam on top died down, I took an SG reading and it was 1010 (didn’t take a starting SG).
In the Young's instructions it says to dry hop at that gravity but also says can take up to 15 days so I went to the local brew shop for advice.
The advice was that the brew had likely finished and to dry hop today (which I did in a muslin bag), then leave for 5 days then bottle.
Now, after looking on here it seems I may have intervened too early, it has started to clear a little as well.
Have I messed up?
Any advice?
Thanks in advance

Just to mention, I has a sample to see if it’s bad (with a sanitised vessel) and it’s extremely dry and wow, super alcoholic.
tastes like beer though

You haven’t messed up - it will be absolutely fine particularly if it tastes good. Leave the dry hops in for a few days check your gravity readings and bottle when stable. Like many others here I tend to never bottle before 2 weeks to allow the beer to clear itself up.

Stick the hops in and leave for a few days but don't leave until day 15 otherwise the hops will have been in for too long. 3 or 4 days is plenty. It's a great beer, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks very much, a bit stronger than I would normally drink though. This is going to knock my block off!
