Morning all

I've had a brew sitting for 10 days in fv at 21 degrees and have bottled it last night. It's now sitting in the dark at a constant 15 degrees C. I plan to have it there for 10 days before chilling and drinking. Does this sound right?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,
You maybe want to keep the bottled brew warmer at room temp for the first week or even 2. This allows the residual yeast to convert the priming sugar to CO2 which will sit above the brew in the neck of the bottle. Moving it to the cold will force this CO2 back into the beer to give it some fizz when you open the bottle.

Hope that helps.

If you have a brew fridge for future brews you could consider fermenting a fraction cooler, it should give you a slightly cleaner flavour. I usually ferment at 18 degrees.
