Hi am new to this am after some pointers for best first brew kit, not shore what i need i have a wilko very close to me so can get most stuff there and a home brew shop in stockport thanks dan

Sounds good i need sort out all the fermenter and stuff out not shore what i need though.

Take a look in the "OMG" How To. There's a link in my signature.

It has a list of basic stuff that you'll need. :thumb:

Wilko are good when they have a sale on, otherwise try the local brew shop. i tend to visit the Stockport one or julies homebrew shop near Manchester city football ground. Fermenters are roughly the same price everywhere as are kits.

Sorry to say that I haven't been that impressed with the Wilko brews. Might be worth starting with something else as you want your first brew to impress, a lot of people start with Wherry which is a very good kit and is sold in Wilcos.

The Wilkos stuff is fine but I usually add to it - beer enhancer, dry hopping etc

Some of them are 8 quid a can so can double up !

the only one I have not liked is their cider, the bitters and largers have all been good to decent in my opinion
