Well, got the keys last Friday, so it's official I am a home owner at last.

Now to commence with endless amounts of work, but at least there will be more room for home brew :D with any luck all my beer will have conditioned next month for a party

Congrats

Nothing like the feeling of owning your own house.

Well done Dan, I know it seems a tie at fist but it is a great step for most people. :thumb:

Nice one

Great feeling :thumb:

congrats on getting on the ladder its a great feeling owning your own place

Thanks all, it's nice to finally be at this stage after 2 years of saving and no social life :)

Yes not gone too far from home Dennis, Needs a lot of work, which may mean the brewing is put on the back burner for a while as I dont know what, if any, spare funds I am going to have. An all grain set up may be a gift to myself at the end of the year (I did say I would get one by then)

If all goes well, I will be in for christmas, that should give the brews I have so far, plenty of time to condition :D

Well if you do go AG the offer is still there to join me for a brew day in the future. But I get a feeling your going to be tied up for a while.

Excellent , thanks for that Dennis, I will be taking you up on that offer once the bigger messy jobs are out of the way :thumb:

after 43 years of marriage I want to know where's all this spare time, more space extra money..... everything was at a pinch with a wife and then the kids.
Look on the right side you will have time for home brewing again when your in your 60's
