According to the forum calculator I am heading for a brew around the 3.7% alcohol mark O.G. 1038- F.G. 1010 = 3.7%
Can I then assume that if I add approx 100 grams sugar (is this about the recommended amount?) into my pressure barrel I will be adding to the strength as well as carbonating it? If so what sort of final alcohol % would I be looking at? :

It does, but you're probably looking at half a percent tops...

I remember my first kits, adding 2lb of sugar ;-). God was it terrible
