Simple answer to your question is no. I could brew 5 ales all with different OG from 1.060 to 1.030 I could get all 5 finish on the same gravity. There is no way of working it out unless you have a Refractometer as well.
Somebody that may well of brewed the same kit could give you a rough idea of it's final ABV
 
If it help i am doing a youngs lager kit that came with a starter set and followed the instructions and and added 1kg of sugar and the og was 1042.

going by this i just worked the abv out to be 4,5% using the calculater top left of page
