Hi all new poster,

I have brewed the Belgian Dubbel, but it's come out very hazy. I also previously brewed the same brand of kit but Pilsner. This also came out very hazy.

On the first brew I followed the instructions to the letter. On the second brew I left it an extra few days at each stage too, than the instructions suggest. But I still ended up with a very murky beer.

Any suggestions?

I know the brew is fermenting ok as I took the starting and ending gravity.
 
Ive brewed this and its lovely.
I always leave my brews at least a week longer to let the yeast settle out and drop the temp in the brew fridge down to about 6 degrees to cool it down with the day before bottling down to about 3.

Leave it in the bottle somewhere cool it will settle out, if its the brewferm kit it will need a good 6 months to come to its best anyway, mines has been in the bottle for a year now and is very tasty!
 
How long did you ferment it for? I'm a bit worried about you following the instructions, as most kit instructions are way ambitious on the time it takes to ferment, most of us leave it 2 weeks minimum but it depends on the yeast and fermenting temp, some take 3 weeks. If you've bottled too early your bottles could explode.

Hazy could be yeast still in suspension or chill haze if you've put the bottles in the fridge (this will clear as they warm up). Many of us put the FV somewhere cool after fermentation has completed for 24-48hrs to allow the yeast to drop our prior to bottling.
