I have decided to do a Festival Golden Stag as my first beer kit and have a couple of questions for you clever people.
The instructions say ferment between 20 - 25 c and as i have a brew fridge and inkbird I am wondering where you would set temp and does it make a difference.
I am also intending to rack into a secondary and and use either finnings or a cold crash ....Again any thoughts please, especially if cold crashing would you do that before racking into the secondary or after.
All advice much appreciated thanks.

Hi. I think that this is a hoppy pale ale where you don't want too much flavour from the yeast. Given that I'd be inclined to ferment at the cooler end and increase a couple of degrees as fermentation slows to make sure it attenuates fully. Each to their own but I've never racked off primary, I just cool crash with the beer in the FV. My thinking is that I want to disturb that beer as little as possible and it is protected under a layer of CO2. Cheers and good luck acheers.

Great advice thanks...never thought of increasing temp as it progresses. You live and learn and thanks for the heads up on cold crashing.
