Has anyone ever thought of fermenting in a corny keg would it work? you have a pressure release valve on the keg so could you periodically open the valve and just let a bit of c02 out. Dont know about syphoning out the keg though. Could you pressurise it a bit and all the crap would surely come out first through the dip tube. Well maybe after all its only a thought :thumb:

I've thought about this too.....for fermenting lagers in a fridge and then giving them the long secondary ferment in the cold.

I can't really see any problem tbh, but I would get some spare lids from Norm and retro fit them to accept an airlock rather than letting the pressure build.

Or just a spare length of hose off a gas-in connector as a blow-off pipe?
