Hello,

I'm looking for a 25 litre fermentation vessel fitted with an immersion heater at the bottom of the vessel. I don't want a heater poked in the top.

I think I have seen one for sale online, but now can not find the website.

Thanks in advance for any help,

Kat

I've never seen one, the internet "wisdom" is that is better to have as little in the fermenter as possible due to fear of contamination.

The commonly suggested options seem to be -

A fridge n heater controlled by a STC1000, that's what I use.
A heating belt
A heating mat
A fish tank heater. Put the FV in a trug of water n the heater in the water. I've done this it works n nothing gets into the FV.

Good luck. Aamcle.

I have always used an immersion heater, and have never had an infected brew !!
