Hi,
new to all grain brewing, after only using kits - thought that I should properly regulate the temperature whilst fermenting. Bought an inkbird temp controller, already had a heating mat so just needed a fridge.
I picked up a nearly new fridge locally for a good price, but the location of the compressor inside at the bottom, and also the light and thermostat on the side means it can't quite take a 25 litre plastic fermentation bucket. I have a couple, and one will fit if I secure the door.
Realistic dimensions are 46cm high, 32cm wide, 32cm deep.... so I thought about these...
25 litre water tank - pdf
20 litre water tank - pdf
The 25 litre tank is a bit too large in one dimension, but I might be able to remove a shelf in the door to give me the extra 3cm depth.
Wondered what people thought? Also seems sensible that square vessels fit the space better than buckets...
