Hi guys,
Started a coopers lager kit on the 27th of December so 4 days ago.
The gravity before adding yeast was 1.035 but at 28c so I think that means it is really 1.038 anyway that isn't important because it appears to be stopped at around 1.012 well when I took a sample and dropped the hydrometer in it was like 1.009/1.010 but rose after 2/3mins ???
is it normal to rise when taken out??
also I was expecting it to be 1.006 when ready? will it continue as it has been in for two weeks already?
will it be like carping c2? lol
any advice guys??
thanks

Well the temp is going to start to change and hence your reading might change. Make sure you take a temp reading straight after a reading.

if it's a consistant reading over 3 days then get it bottled. Most of my kit brews only ever went down to 1.012 :thumb:
