favourite ipa hops?

Agree with Aleman if you are going traditional IPA, it's got to be Goldings, just got to be.

I do think though that although not IPA's to the purist it's fun to play with hops in a similar beer and I've had some cracking "IPA's" using Cascade. iirc Townes IPA is a low strength pale and wheat malt beer that uses just cascades.
 
I know this is going to upset alot of people but I love Chinook in pale ales but then I guess that would be more of an APA than IPA so sticking to traditional IPA's, Goldings.
