The tattoo post got me thinking about my favourite comics when I was a lad.
Mine in no particular order:

Warlord.
Victor.
2000AD.
Beano
Dandy.

Ah happy days!

What were your favourites:

Look and Learn (Trigan Empire strip was my first intro to Sci-Fi) and Eagle (loved the cut away schematics of aircraft and such)

Bunty was cool too, especially the cut out dollies. [FLUSHED FACE]

I am too young to remeber the comics you guys are saying

But i am a fan of Preacher, Watchmen, Ronin, The Walking Dead and have been given one called Joe the Barbarian (its about a kid falling into a diabetic coma and all the toys in his room come to life. It is ment to be excellent)

Bob Monkhouse - Incredibly funny in his stage show and After Dinner Speaking . . .Not so good on TV.

And of Course Billy Connolly

;) 2000AD

I've still got a pile of 2000ADs somewhere - or may be one of the characters from 200AD - Slaine maybe?

I have to say The Beano, I was named after Dennis the menace, 100% true, thanks to my 2 elder brothers.

Ohhhh saturday morning pictures and home to read the Victor before going out to footy or cricket for the afternoon :thumb:

a long time ago
