Not sure about everyone else but I will own up that I sometimes struggle to find some of the flavours and aromas supposedly associated with certain hops. Yes I usually get the fruity, grassy citrussy aromas and sometimes spisy but when the same hops are supposed to have dark fruit, loganberries,lychees I some times miss them If it is the main flavour in then fine but if it is a background hint of then I think this is very subjective.
I can see that Caramel if up front would be obvious but do these hops have any other flavours? I would probably not go for hops to get a caramel note as it is infinitely controllable using several malts and processing techniques.
