Just need some advice from those with experience.
I am planning on going extract on my next brew. My question is: do I get all the ingredients myself following the recipe, or do I buy an extract kit for the same beer?
I see some advantages and disadvantages of both.
1. Buying my own would be slightly more expensive, but would leave some spare ingredients for me to do some experimenting with.
2. Buying my own I would be able to follow the recipe quite closely, would the kit be the same.
Any advise would be appreciated.
