Right, please point out any mistakes i have made (other than spelling!!!) as this is my first attempt and im going in relatively blind.

I'm going to use;

2x 1 litre Asda 100% Red Grape juice
1x 1litre Asda 100% white grape juice
1x 1litre Cherrygood Cherry and Berry juice.
1x tea spoon of Super Yeast.
500gm bog standard cane sugar
½ litre of boiling water (for sugar to disolve)

worked out the sugar;

from Moleys thing on another post, for 12.5%abv over 4.5 litres is 1090grm
the juices contain 591gm sugar, so need 499gm.

Am i right in thinking this should all create something?? Dont know what its gonna taste like tho.....

Should i do anything else to this??

Fingers crossed guys

i didi have a look, im pretty sure there aint, its got

'Water, Juices from cencentrate 30% (Tart Cherry (18%), Montmorency Cherry (5%) Blackcurrant, Raspberry, Blackcherry, Blueberry), Concentrated Fruit Extract, Citric Acid.'

So im guessing no nasties!

Just finished putting it all together.

got a reading of 1.083 on the Hydro before i put the yeast in, guessing thats the right time to do it???

Tried it before i added the water and sugar an it tastes quite nice really, jus see what happens now

EDIT;

Just worked out on the wine Calc, should come out about 11.2%abv which is jus what i was looking for!!!

well, Day 3 and its bubbling away very nicely. No frofyness(sp) on top.

Question is really, whats next?? I know ive gotta wait for the bubbles to pretty much stop which is gonna be a week or 2 but is there anythin inbetween??

Also, what do i need to go and buy for when fermenting stops? Is it that Potasium Sorbate stuf??

Thanks in advance

Turbo

Finnally the gravity is low enough to rack today so its been racked stabalized and finings added, took 34 days of fermentation!!!! :shock:
