I've just been round to a neighbours and he was just watching a 3 min clip showing the goals, (I didn't mind watching 3 mins worth :whistle: ) .... but what surprised me was the commentator, Mark Laurence ? what a miserable sounding ghytte he is, I think I could drum up more enthusiasm as a commentator than him :!:


We had a very good evening, MrsC's birthday so went to a fairly new restaurant nearby for our first visit, we had an excellent meal and it was a quiet evening, only a few of us non football people in and they had a decent cask ale on as well :!:

didnt see russia going out at all, how Greece got through I'll never know. Germany most likely playing Greece for a place in the semis

I hope they didn't watch the saturdays game together, anyway i didn't hear they split.

I was at Zywiec Birofilia Festival at this time and only loads of good beer around kept me from heart attack.

The fact we have gone into the competition with low expectations means we are punching above our weight. The good news is there are no stand out teams, even the Germans look beatable.

Mind you there was an excellent program on last night Ocean Giants, about Whales, OK it was a repeat, but I'd missed it first time round and couldn't see anything else on :? :lol:
