Espresso maker

My lovely wife brought me a Daewoo espresso maker for Christmas. So I thought I'd go the whole hog and get a electric coffee grinder. Any recommendations or are they all much of a muchness?

I've got a very nice delonghi one I've had for about 20 years.

The recommendation I got was to get a burr grinder (I think that's the name) where you set the grind level. Rather than one of those whirry blade ones.

Ceramic is nice but not essential. Make sure it's widely adjustable.. 'cos they can also be pressed into action for grains.

Given I'm only grinding enough for a double expresso each time, are manual ones cheaper?

You will get bored...

But better still buy lavazza espresso.
By far the best imo. Nothing comes close.

I have the previous version but only use it for occasional French press brews. I think the good electric grinders also control dose by time, so they are doing 2 steps at once.
